Buxton Water Ltd Estimator Kevin Dunne commented:
“It’s pleasing that we can finally release the details of this contract as it’s been a long collaboration between O’Connor Sutton Cronin (Consulting Engineer), Ballymore the developer and ourselves. The scheme has gone through a couple of revisions and we now hope to commence works early next week. We look forward to the challenges that a project of this nature presents in central London and to establishing a strong working relationship with Ballymore Group.
The contract award confirms that we remain competitive across the country; it has always been our priority to ensure that we remain competitive across all markets and areas of the UK. The contract award at London City Island is a significant, high profile award for Buxton Water. The addition of this new contract also provides future business opportunities with Ballymore as they have long been established as a major developer in the London region.
Recent awards cement our position as a major player in the hydro demolition sector as we continue to provide our clients with excellent value; high quality workmanship and most importantly delivering projects safely and on time.”
